Made in the Maritimes Artisan Boutique, retailer of contemporary, high-quality handcrafted products made in the Canadian Maritimes is expanding to the historic Hydrostone Market in Halifax. They will move into the space formerly home to Bogside Gallery.
“We’re very excited to be expanding into a space already known for offering high-quality handcrafted items in the Halifax area” says Joel Kelly who along with Mark Smith owns Made in the Maritimes Artisan Boutique. “The North End has a very strong sense of community and we’re excited to become part of this with our location at the Hydrostone Market” says Smith.
Since opening their first location in Sunnyside Mall in April 2015, Kelly and Smith have established a very successful business promoting high-quality, unique products made in the Maritimes. At Made in the Maritimes Artisan Boutique you will find a constantly evolving collection of fine art, pottery, woodwork, jewellery, body & spa products, gourmet edibles, glassware, artisan furniture and homewares.
With a Made in the Maritimes Artisan Boutique location in both Bedford and Halifax, locals and tourists alike will have greater access to some of the amazing artistic talent that can be found right here in the Maritimes.
Renovations will begin soon with an expected opening date in early May.
